the project RAINBOW ACROSS THE WORLD 2015, 70 years after the end of World War Two, will complete the Rainbow Trilogy which artistically represents the desire for peace that is common to all nations. It symbolises a remarkable example of international civil society and cultural cooperation. The RAINBOW ACROSS THE WORLD 2015 will surely continue the success of the previous projects "Rainbow across Europe 2004" and " Rainbow across Austria 1999 ". At a time when many have beendevastated by the economic crisis with the resulting rise of populist trends and attempts to divide people, such projects are more important than ever. They make it clear how much we are connected by the common values of humanity and love of peace. I am therefore very grateful that you are making an important contribution with a cultural commitment to this awareness. It not only promotes active citizenship, but can help to strengthen solidarity between peoples and nations. I wish you and the other organizers every success in this remarkable project.
